In conformity to the Ordinance of the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare of Japan for creating safe water in municipal drinking water treatment
SDW series is developed for municipal waterworks in conformity to the "Amendment of the Ordinance to Set the Technical Standards for Waterworks (Ordinance of the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare: Item 54)" enacted in 2007 and "Guideline for Protection of Waterworks from Cryptosporidium".
SDW series is a PMI-UV* contributes to enhance the reliability of waterworks infrastructure and offers the cutting edge technologies to dramatically improve the safety of drinking water by effectively inactivating Cryptosporidium and Giardia, which need to be carefully treated in the water purification process.

Features
● 3log (99.9%) inactivation of Cryptosporidium and Giardia by irradiating UV dose of 10mJ/cm2 (UV intensity [mW/cm2] ×irradiation time [sec]) onto the water to be treated.
● In confirmity to the Ordinance of the Ministry of Health, Labour, Welfare of Japan and eligible for government subsidies.
● Approved by Japan Water Research Center on the JWRC standard for UV disinfection systems (Certification #: 20001 & 20021).
★ There are 157 of our UV disinfection systems active in Japan as of 2013.
