New field for utilization of UV energy: TOC reduction

Ultra pure water used as rinse water in electronics maufacturing such as semiconductors and LCDs requires not only disinfection but also decomposition of total organic carbon (TOC). Our "STERITRON" WOX series can effectively decompose TOC without using any oxidant to minimize the level of TOC in unit of ppt. Also, our "STERITRON" UEX series can help produce sterile water in a more economical way compared to our older models.

Features

● UV lamps employed for our WOX series can emit stronger UV radiation in the wavelength of 184.9nm, in addition to 253.7nm UV with disinfecting effects.

● UV in the wavelength of 184.9nm can easily be absorbed by water and oxygen, forming hydroxyl radicals (OH radicals) with high oxidizability in water. Hydroxyl radicals can decompose almost all organic substances.

● TOC reduction for ultra pure water, hyper pure water at electronics manufacturing plants, etc.
